“Russia is involved in a Holy War against the West”
Interview with Cemil Kerimoglu, PhD – for members only.
Cemil (pronounced ‘Jemil‘) Kerimoglu, PhD, was born in the former Soviet Union (Azerbaijan), grew up in Turkey and has been living in Europe for a long time. His native language is Russian and he is fluent in Turkish, German, and English.
His background is in molecular genetics with a PhD in neuroscience, and he spent a long time in academia as a research scientist and data analyst. He has a deep knowledge of history and in recent years he writes mostly about Russia and Eastern Europe.
When Russia invaded Ukraine in Feb. 2022, he spoke out as a radical defender of Ukraine’s cause and an opponent of Russia’s war.
