“Half of the Holocaust”: David Cole’s Final Word on the Final Solution
🎅🏻 Exclusive 2h Christmas Interview.
🎙For members.
I invited David Cole to talk about the CONTROVERSIAL work he’s best known for.
(Previously we have talked about movies, but here we talk about the BIG TOPIC for the first time.)
We get into some questions I’ve wanted to ask him for many years.
As you probably know, Cole was a well-known revisionist in the ’90s.
Born into a secular Jewish family, Cole became interested in Holocaust history in the late ’80s.
Documentary Film Maker
In 1992 (in his early 20s) he published a self-produced documentary called “David Cole Interviews Dr. Franciszek Piper”. You can find it on the usual video platforms.
The documentary shows Cole going to Auschwitz to film gas chambers and interview staff — including Dr. Franciszek Piper, head of the historical department of the Auschwitz Museum.
In the interview, Piper admits the gas chambers shown to tourists are reconstructions.
The Jewish Revisionist
The documentary quickly turned Cole into one of the most talked-about revisionists in the world. Not least because of the accessible film style and the fact he was Jewish.
He also appeared on a range of popular TV shows – including the Montel Williams Show, the Phil Donahue Show, 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, and The Morton Downey Jr. Show.
He became a media “star”.
Controversy
But he got hostile reactions from some other revisionists because he didn’t toe the party line. For example, he believed in a much higher death toll than the hard-liners would accept.
He also changed his mind later and admitted he made mistakes in his early work – so he became less critical of the “mainstream” historians.
Needless to say, he also got aggressive reactions from other Jews. He was physically attacked and threatened.
In 1998 the violent “Jewish Defense League” offered a monetary reward for information regarding Cole’s whereabouts.
Republican Party Animal
To escape the heat, Cole changed his last name to Stein and “disappeared” for several years. During this time he began making mainstream Holocaust documentaries and got involved in conservative politics.
In 2013 he was outed by an ex-girlfriend and became a public figure again. He talks about all these adventures in his 2014 autobiography, Republican Party Animal (unfortunately “banned” and out of print).
He currently writes for Taki’s Magazine.
Setting the Record Straight
Now he returns, 30 years later, to set the record straight.
In this exclusive 2-hour interview, David Cole gives us his final word on the controversial topic that made him infamous in the ’90.
👉 The interview is for members only.
🎄 I hope you enjoy this early Christmas present.
