Interview with Dr. Tom Sunic about the Russo-Ukrainian war and Cold War II.

Born in Communist Yugoslavia, Tom Sunic earned his PhD in political science in America in the 1980s with a dissertation about the French New Right. Since then he has been a professor, diplomat, writer, and translator.

On Feb. 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine with two stated war objectives: to demilitarize and de-Nazify Ukraine. It has turned into the biggest war in Europe since WW2, and it looks like it will drag on. It’s also currently the most important issue that we should try to understand.

I invited Dr. Sunic to discuss the war, its background in history, and its possible meaning for the future. My ambition is to give you as many relevant perspectives as possible.
